What is Perfect XI?

Perfect XI is a football knowledge game. You pick a nation, open a pack of 26 players, choose a formation, then build your starting eleven on the pitch — picking not just who to play, but which year of each player (when they were at their best). When you lock it in, your XI is graded and compared to the Perfect XI from your draw.

How do I play?

• Pick a nation from the 2026 World Cup line-up.
• Open your pack to reveal your 26 players.
• Choose a formation your players can field.
• Build your XI. For each player you also choose a year — their peak season isn’t always obvious.
• Lock it in to reveal your grade and your scout rating.

Why can’t I see player ratings while picking?

That’s the whole game — it’s a test of football knowledge. Ratings and stats are hidden until you commit your eleven. Once locked, your run is final and can’t be edited.

What is the “scout rating”?

Your draw is random, so a perfect A+ isn’t always possible. The scout rating is how close your eleven got to the Perfect XI from the exact 26 players you were dealt — so it rewards smart picking regardless of the luck of the draw.

Is it free?

Yes — you can play and sign up for free. Anyone can play one nation; sign up to keep playing more nations for free. Your first nation also gets a one-time free replay.

What are credits?

Credits let you replay a nation you’ve already completed (1 credit = 1 replay). When you replay, your best score for that nation is the one that’s kept. Bigger top-ups include bonus credits. Credits are bought securely through Stripe and are added once payment is confirmed.

Can I get a refund on credits?

Credits are digital content delivered to your account immediately, so purchases are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for the full detail.

Is this affiliated with FIFA or the clubs?

No. Perfect XI is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any national association, club, or player.
