Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This policy explains how Perfect XI collects and uses your personal data. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@perfectxi.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, a securely hashed password, and a public username. We never store your password in plain text. Your email is never shown publicly.
- Gameplay data: the nations you play, the teams you build, scores, and credit balance.
- Payment data: card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details — only a record of the purchase and credits granted.
- Technical data: a session cookie and an authentication cookie needed to run the game and keep you signed in.
How we use it
- to run the game, your account, and the credits wallet;
- to show your username and scores on the public global leaderboard;
- to process purchases and prevent fraud;
- to respond to support requests;
- to keep the Service secure and working.
Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you (running your account and purchases) and our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: an anonymous session identifier and a sign-in cookie. These are required for the game to function and are not used for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
- Our hosting provider — to operate the Service.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. Purchase records are retained as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@perfectxi.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above shows the current version.
